For a while now I have wondered and contemplated what I would say to girls if I’m ever given the chance to voice out my thoughts. Day in and day out thoughts of life circle my mind as I reflect on the opportunity I have been given in my own life to make decisions that ultimately affect my very existence. We go through life, for the most part, with more questions than answers, and the quest for answers ultimately defines our life's journey. As a girl, I’ve realized there are lots of things about myself that I do not understand, and until I seek to understand that which I currently don’t grasp, my life will fall short of achieving its purpose. This may just be a story but its power and truth rings clear.
As girls, we are faced daily with the choice of making decisions, no matter how small, that either brands us as good girls or bad girls. I’m going to explain further. The two personalities within us are the wolf and the lamb. The lamb is a gentle, quiet and submissive animal that only follows the way the shepherd leads it. The lamb is often times used to symbolize Jesus Christ as the Lamb that came to take away the sins of the world..
